How to Use Safe Place Case in the Nursery

The Safe Place is where children go to change their inner state from upset to composed. An infant’s Safe Place is in the adult’s arms and reliant on the adult’s internal state, but it’s never too early to start healthy Safe Place practices! The Safe Place Case is a box or basket that holds your Safe Place tools for active calming. An infant’s Safe Place Case might include a small blanket or stuffed toy, tissues, lotion in a gentle scent like lavender, soothing music, and books like the Sophie series for you to read aloud.
