Ashlyn Garton is an Assistant Principal in Liberty, Missouri and a passionate advocate for creating safe, connected school families through Conscious Discipline. Her journey began as a third-grade teacher in a Title 1 school, where Conscious Discipline transformed not only her classroom practices but also her personal approach to self-regulation, relationships, and leadership.

Since becoming an administrator, Ashlyn has led school-wide implementation efforts focused on adult composure, relationship-centered leadership, and building cultures of safety and belonging. She coaches educators and administrators, facilitates professional learning, and supports teams in creating sustainable systems that strengthen both social-emotional development and academic success. Through her work, schools have seen significant improvements in culture, consistency, and student outcomes.

Ashlyn is committed to helping educators recognize that lasting change begins with the adult. She believes that when adults develop the skills to lead with composure, connection, and positive intent, they create environments where every child and adult can thrive.
